Monarch Mountain , featuring an amazing stash of pow here in Salida: no or little wait at the lifts, a cat ski option, and the famous Mirkwood Meadows hike (it's worth it and then some)! A ski and board experience for all levels of experience, with a friendly outlook and hometown feel.
